Jon Peterson is a Portland, Ore., comedian. The 28-year-old writer was a finalist in both the 2000 and 2001 Portland Amateur Comedy Competition and the Kelso, Wash., 2000 Amateur Comedy Contest. He enjoys lint removal, remembering loved ones with strangers and being pacified.

Mr. Peterson is also a writer, having worked for a weekly newspaper, he is now working on a novel, a screenplay and continues to work on funny material for his standup performances by getting himself arrested.
